HP Mini 1000 and the Compaq Mini 700 is available as spare part number 509698-001. A

10.1-inch display panel for the Compaq Mini 700 only is available as spare part number

509703-001.

8. If it is necessary to replace the display panel brackets, perform the following steps:

a. Remove the four Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure the brackets to the display panel.

b. Remove the brackets (2). The brackets are available in the Display Hinge Kit, spare part

number 504596-001 for all 8.9-inch panels or 515207-001 for 10.1-inch panels

(Compaq Mini 700 only).
