4. Disconnect any power cables that may be connected to sockets J114 or

J115 on the system board (Figure 7.11-6) of a COMPAQ PORTABLE 286

CAUTION

Pull only on the connector, do not pry. Pulling on the wires makes the

connector grip the pins tighter, which will damage the connector.
